Your Healing from Betrayal Starts Here
Andréa Sant'Ana
Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of their most vulnerable moments—offering care, compassion, and guidance. Choosing to become a psychotherapist and counsellor was a natural extension of this journey, allowing me to provide specialised support during times of devastation and despair.
I am an Accredited Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), hold a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, am a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) through the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS). I support individuals and couples impacted by intimate betrayal and infidelity, guiding healing across both personal wellbeing and relational repair. This involves supporting betrayed partners and couples navigating relationships affected by problematic sexual behaviours, including compulsive sexual behaviours or sex, love and pornography addiction. My CSAT training through IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals) further equips me to support betrayed partners healing in the context of problematic sexual behaviour.
Inclusivity and diversity are core values in my practice, which is grounded in integrative practices based on evidence and theories that honour the unique experiences of each individual’s healing journey. I am fluent in both English and Portuguese.
